Spectrashift.com was originally started as a collaborative effort to advance spectrographs that could measure radial velocities with small telescopes. This was mostly focused on exoplanets. Since thousands of exoplanets have been discovered, we have changed focus to white dwarf stars that have disintegrating asteroids orbiting them.
